The Cedarmore Corporation is a community-based, non-profit organization founded in 1996 by the late Bishop Frank O. White.  The organization began as a series of basketball tournaments designed to create a safe haven for youth, keeping them off the streets and away from the rising gang activity in Freeport and the surrounding communities.

Cedarmore has an evolving portfolio of programs that focuses on the most relevant issues affecting today’s youth including education, financial literacy, positive self-image, leadership, and health.
