The Cynthia Perkins-Roberts Youth Empowerment Series is a collective of events intended to empower and uplift the youth in our community. Through these programs we are leading critical conversations through culturally relevant, dynamic and interactive sessions that educate and elevate youths’ awareness of self, society and institutional frameworks.

GIRLZ TALK

Girlz Talk is a day of critical, culturally relevant conversation that includes age-appropriate and segmented sessions that are creatively executed through interactive workshops and dynamic keynotes. Every year nearly 500 girls, ages 11+, are learning everything from business acumen and financial literacy to all things beauty, self care and confidence.

BOYZ N2 MEN

Boyz N2 Men motivates and empowers hundreds of young men while narrowing the information gap that exists in their lives and communities. The annual one-day event is filled with keynotes, interactive workshops, mentoring sessions and a powerful Tied to Greatness, tie-tying ceremony.

#YOUMATTER: Young, Informed,Empowered

Through the Continuing the Conversation: #YouMatter conference, we equip and empower young students with the skills needed to understand the power of their voice. In these sessions we create a safe space for students to express how they feel about the challenges they face in the world. Led by with trained specialists, these conversations are informative and impactful for all attendees.

Collegeology


Collegeology is a one-day power session dedicated to help students and parents navigate through the college admissions process. We not only focus on college entrance exams and college essay prep, students have an opportunity hone their interviewing and networking skills.
